hello !
My name is Tai, and I'm an illustrator based in Ontario, Canada. My work is often recognized for its use of punchy colours, dynamic compositions, and an expression of my love for nature. Through my art, I hope to explore and share the whims and curiosities of life.Some of my favourite things to draw at the moment birds, cats, and hand-lettering.If you don't catch me drawing, you might also find me birding at my local storm-water management pond, or reading a book.

White Whale
A six page comic of an interview with a birder. It recounts his expedition deep in the bayous of Louisiana to find the Ivory-billed woodpecker, a bird that many presume to be extinct.
Sasha and Sen
A three page introductory comic about siblings, Sasha and Sen, offering a glimpse into their character and place in their world.
SLAPDASH
A six panel, limited colour-palette comic formatted to be printed and redistributed as a mini zine. The short story follows Jane, a vampire hunter in the wild west, and a lesson on how sometimes it's worth being a little more careful.
